We love to share out knowledge of vintage fashion with you. If you have a question that isn't listed below, please ask away!
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY VINTAGE LINGERIE?
Most Littlebit Vintage pieces are clean, and ready to wear when they are shipped to you, the only exception being some items that are deadstock with tags still on, or some antique pieces we deem to delicate to attempt to clean. Hand wash cold water for colors, warm for whites. Use a gentle detergent, we recommend Woolite, for regular washing. Gently agitate, rinse and hang or lay flat to dry. If you must, machine wash on gentle or dedicates. We recommend using a lingerie bag (or any simple mesh bag) for machine washing.
DO NOT put vintage lingerie in the drier. Modern driers get too hot for most old and delicate fabrics, and will likely scorch and burn nylon fabrics. Hanging to dry is recommend for most dedicates. Knits should be laid flat to dry.
These instructions should keep your new vintage garments fresh for a whole new life!
HOW DO I FIND MY SIZE?
All garments at Littlebit Vintage are laid flat to measure. Measurements are then doubled, where needed. The best way to find if a particular garment will work for you is to measure a similar garment that fits you well.
Bust measurements are taken at the bottom of the armhole, or pit to pit.
Waist measurements are taken at the narrowest part of the torso, or at the middle seam.
Hip measurements are take about 8" down from the waist, and varies depending on the cut of the garment.
If you are unsure about the fit, or need additional measurements, do not hesitate to contact us, as we are please to provide additional assistance.
